IP&IT LAW 2022 Winners Announced

The results of the 7th All-Russian Youth Competition on Information Technology and Intellectual Property Law (IP&IT LAW - 2022) which is organized by IP CLUB and the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ were summed up. The Competition is held under the auspices of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

The essays of young researchers from different regions of Russia were presented to the jury of the competition. The winners of the IP & IT LAW - 2022 competition were determined in the main and special categories based on the results of a collegial evaluation of the submitted competitive works, and taking into account the creative nature and originality, the completeness of the disclosure of the stated topic, the presence of constructive ideas and suggestions and other criteria.

Traditionally, the distribution of places between the winners is kept secret until the award day, which this year will be held at the Russian Internet Forum (RIF 2022). The names of the winners are published on the IP CLUB website.
The 1st place winner will receive a prize from WIPO. He will also receive an award from “Egorov Puginsky Afanasiev & Partners” law firm.

All winners of the competition will receive special awards from the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ, IP CLUB, as well aw from the competition’s partners – ‘Statut’ School of Law, Garant’ reference legal system, AI Alliance Russia, ‘Semenov & Pevzner’ law firm, ‘Zuykov and partners’ law firm, ‘ALRUD’ law firm, ‘M-Logos’ law Institute.

All laureates will be given the opportunity to have an internship at the Intellectual Property Court. The assays of the competition laureates can be published in the Journal of the Intellectual Property Rights Court (recommended by the Higher Attestation Commission), in the yearbook "Digital Economy Law - 2023" or in the collection of articles "Video games, gaming, cybersport: aspects of legal regulation".
