Today, on March 21, Alexey Pavlovich Platonov, one of the founders of Runet, celebrates his birthday. In 1994-2010, Alexey Platonov was the Director of The Russian Research Institute for the Development of Public Networks (RIPN). He stood at the origins of the creation of the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ. From 2001 to 2010, Alexey was a member of the Coordination Center’s Council. Alexey Platonov is a person without whom our Runet could not have taken place!
