The submission of essays for the IP&IT LAW - 2022 competition is over

The essays submission for the IP & IT LAW - 2022 competition was closed on February 1st. The organizing committee of the competition notes a markedly increased level of research conducted by the participants.

The essays will be presented to the members of the jury of the competition soon. Winners are going be announced at the end of March. 

The Awards Ceremony is going to be held on April 6th at the 12th Russian Internet Governance Forum (RIGF 2022).

IP&IT LAW 2022 laureates will receive special awards from WIPO and ICANN, as well as valuable prizes, souvenirs, and other awards from the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ, IP CLUB, AI Alliance Russia, International and Comparative Law Research Center, ‘Egorov Puginsky Afanasiev & Partners’ law office, ‘Statut’ School of Law, ‘ALRUD’ law firm, ‘M-Logos’ law Institute, ‘Semenov & Pevzner’ law firm, ‘Zuykov and partners’ law firm, ‘Garant’ reference legal system and others.
Students from 25 universities from 15 cities of Russia and Belarus participate in the competition.

“Every year, the participants show a highish plateau of their essays and a deep study of various topics that are relevant today. The jury is faced with a difficult task - it is necessary to choose the best ones from a large number of good works. We look forward to the announcement of the winners and wish good luck to the contestants!” cheered up the chairman of the jury, the president of IP CLUB Marina Rozhkova.

The IP&IT LAW competition is organized by IP CLUB in cooperation with the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ under the auspices of WIPO and ICANN with the support of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, Information Technologies and Communications, Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia, Intellectual Property Rights Court, and Rospatent. The extra-mural competition involves the independent writing of essays on one of the 20 topics approved by the organizers.
