The Council of the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ held an offline meeting on December 1. Participants discussed and adopted the organization’s budget and plan of action for 2022. The plan of action is based on the https://cctld.ru/media/news/kc/27190/ Priority Areas of Activity (Development Strategy) of the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ until 2025, which were adopted in the beginning of 2021.
Participants in the meeting also approved the Smart Internet Foundation’s fund for supporting internet initiatives. The Smart Internet Foundation manages the Cyrillic top-level domain .ДЕТИ. The foundation was established by the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ in 2021 and is engaged in the development of the children’s internet in Russia.
Council members also discussed other organizational issues.
