The Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ is now accepting photos for the Фотодомен.РФ national contest. The contest will run from October 1 to December 7, 2021. The call for entries opens on October 1, and the deadline for submissions is November 20, 2021. The competition was organized in support of the .РФ ccTLD.
The contest’s motto is “call things by their right names.”
Photos showing .РФ domain names that address a working website can be submitted to the contest in five categories:
- nature in .РФ
- delicious in .РФ
- cities in .РФ
- business in .РФ
- fashion in .РФ.
The contest will take place in several stages:
- October 1 – November 20: Call for entries;
- November 21: Three participants will receive the audience choice award;
- November 21 – December 1: Expert voting where experts will help the jury to select the top 25 photos that will make it to the final;
- December 2 – 6: The jury will choose the overall winner and winners in each category.
The winners will be announced at the 2021 Runet Awards in December.
The participants will receive prizes from the Coordination Center and registrars.
The winners of each category will receive compact Sony cameras, quadcopters with cameras or Instax mini instant cameras. Participants whose photos win the viewers’ hearts will get a Nikon 40x zoom camera, a Sony digital camera or an LED backpack. The overall winner of the Фотодомен.РФ contest will take home a Canon DSLR.
The registrants of the domains pictured in the finalist photos will also receive prizes.
