Digital Dictation 2021 kicks off

On March 23, 2021 at 12:00 noon, the TASS press center will hold an online roundtable discussion on the start of Digital Dictation, the Russian educational campaign to determine the level of digital literacy. The promotion is organized by RAEC, Microsoft and the Russian Popular Front.

During the roundtable discussion, changes in the Digital Dictation 2021 campaign, its regional features and stages will be announced.

Digital Dictation is an annual promotion recognized as the largest digital literacy test in Russia. It enables users to not only find out their level of digital competency but also to go through the mistakes and form their own personal trajectory for the development of missing knowledge and skills.

In 2020, the Digital Dictation campaign was the largest initiative to test information technology knowledge in Russia. It involved 330,148 people (39,398 people in 2019). The average digital literacy level of the participants in the 2020 campaign was 7.25 points out of a possible 10 (7.15 points in 2019).
