The youth university forum, Ethical, Cultural and Civilizational Aspects of Using the Internet, will take place on December 9, 2020.
The event will be held by the Russian Association of Networks and Services (RANS) together with the Moscow State Linguistic University (MSLU) and the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ. Like most events this year, this forum will be held online.
The forum’s objective is to improve information security awareness based on the development and use of legislative and regulatory framework, the safe use of information and communication technologies and its restrictions, as well as forming ethical behavior principles in the virtual space. The target audience of the event includes students of specialized universities and lyceums.
The forum will feature speeches by representatives of the federal bodies of authority (the Presidential Executive Office, the Government Staff, the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media, the Federal Service for Technical and Export Control), as well as ICT organizations.
The forum will feature four sessions:
1. The opening of the forum (10:30 – 12:00). Hosts: Irina Krayeva, MSLU; Arkady Kremer, RANS
2. National interests and international cooperation in the ICT infrastructure development (12:15 – 13:45). Hosts: Andrey Vorobyev, Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ; Alexander Ivanyuk, RANS
3. Training personnel for representing Russia’s interests in international organizations (14:00 – 15:30). Hosts: Andrey Vorobyev, Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ; Alexander Ivanyuk, RANS
4. Closing the forum and summarizing results (15:45 – 17:15). Hosts: Irina Krayeva, MSLU; Arkady Kremer, RANS
