The Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ held a two-day online training session to improve the skills of managers and employees of sales departments, technical support services and marketing departments of accredited domain name registrars in the .RU and .РФ domains. The training was held as part of the Registrar's Day event and co-organized by the Boris Zhalilo Business School.
During the training, its participants gained a set of key skills and knowledge in the field of working with clients of domain registrars. They enjoyed a series of special exercises and discussions, developed taking into account the specifics of the domain industry. Business coach Boris Zhalilo offered the participants a domain-specific guide that allowed registrars’ employees to master the process of selling and handling objections when interacting with existing and potential domain registrants.
During the training, the participants learned the methods and techniques of preparing arguments, determining the type of customer behavior and persuading them. The training guide will help registrars not only improve their performance in registering and renewing domain names, but also wisely apply that knowledge in their daily life.
“One of the main tasks of the Coordination Center is to provide comprehensive support to domain name registrars in developing their business and improving the quality of services for users. Such training sessions serve to improve the skills of registrars' staff, and we plan to continue regularly holding training sessions on various aspects of registrars' activities, attracting the best mentors for this,” said Andrey Vorobyev, Director of the Coordination Center.
“I am grateful to the Coordination Center for the invitation to hold a training session for domain registrars. I am interested in this industry, and I see that registrars can do their best to improve the quality of services and boost their figures for attracting new customers and competently working with existing ones,” noted Boris Zhalilo following the training. The Coordination Center plans to continue holding training sessions for accredited registrars aimed at developing and growing these companies and supporting the stable work of the Russian national domain registration system as a whole.
