Applications close for Internet Governance Summer School

On July 20, applications closed for participation in the Internet Governance Summer School. Internet governance has sparked great interest among students, postgraduates, teachers, and professionals who want to expand their knowledge and improve their skills. There were 95 applications in total from several dozen Russian cities as well as from Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and Germany. The large number of applicants was largely due to the summer school’s online format, which makes it possible to take part from anywhere in the world.

The participants come from a wide range of educational and professional backgrounds: international relations, legal studies, law, journalism and media, information technologies and systems, telecommunications, programming, security, economics, and public administration.

Classes begin on August 1. We wish success to all participants.

The Internet Governance Summer School is organized by the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ in cooperation with the International Relations Faculty of St. Petersburg State University and is part of the Schools on Internet Governance global movement.
