We would like to sum up the results of the What You Know About .РФ quiz, which marks the 10th anniversary of the first Russian Cyrillic domain, .РФ. Sixty people from various Russian regions took part in the quiz, with those from Moscow, the Moscow Region and St. Petersburg most involved.
Two of them went the distance (the quiz took five hours!) and answered all ten questions correctly.
Participants had the most trouble answering questions 5 and 9, about the number of characters in most domain names in .РФ and about Russian Cyrillic TLDs. In the first case, players wrote an average number, and in the second, they listed all the Cyrillic TLDs on the global internet, including those not related to Russian organizations.
The winners are:
- 10 correct answers (prize: laptop bag): Yulia and Nikita (Moscow)
- 9 correct answers (prize: windbreaker, thermal mug and Galactic RUckus board game): Alla (Moscow) and Yelena (village of Knyazevo, Moscow Region)
- 8 correct answers (prize: windbreaker, phone holder and Galactic RUckus board game): Anastasia, Vladimir and Savva (Moscow); Olga (village of Selyatino);
- 7 correct answers (prize: Galactic RUckus board game): Ruslan (Moscow); Andrei, Nikolai and Tatyana (St. Petersburg); Artyom (Sergiyev Posad, Moscow Region); Alexander (village of Yevdokimovo)
- Participants with five or six correct answers who also received prizes (a flash drive, notepad and pen): Ilya, Valentina and Yelena (Moscow); Yelena (Tulun, Irkutsk Region)
