The Coordination Center for TLDs .RU/.РФ and the Karusel TV channel invite children aged 6-12 to take part in the Journey around Runet creative contest to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Russian national domain.
Under the competition rules, contestants are to submit a drawing, a map, or even a cartoon about their journey around the Russian internet. The entrants are asked to imagine where they would go once inside the information computer network, and what they would see there.
Please submit your projects before December 31, 2019 by uploading them to the Karusel TV website. Evaluation of the submissions will be completed by January 9, 2020, and the results will be published on the organizers’ websites on January 10. The jury will select the 10 best works and award their creators with diplomas and souvenirs.
Each participant will also have the chance to earn extra points by watching videos about the history and structure of the internet and completing a test. This feature will be available two weeks before the end of the contest.
The first projects about traveling on the Runet have already been published on the competition website.
