On October 8, 2019, the founders of the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ held a General Meeting. They reviewed and approved reports by Director of the Coordination Center Andrey Vorobyev on the center’s performance in 2018 and in the eight months of 2019.
The meeting participants also considered a number of other issues. Amendments were made to the Regulations on the Council of Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ to include a more detailed procedure for terminating the authority of council members.
Those at the General Meeting of founders considered and adopted amendments to the CC Charter concerning the name of the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ in English. Other organizational issues were also considered.
As a reminder, under the Charter, the General Meeting of founders is the supreme body of the Coordination Center. Its competencies include determining the Coordination Center’s priorities, its property management principles, the appointment of its director and chief accountant, the appointment of its auditor and the election of an audit commission, approval of Coordination Center’s internal documents, and a number of other organizational issues.
The founders of the Coordination Center currently include five organizations: the Russian Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media, the ROCIT Regional Public Center of Internet Technologies, the Russian Association of Networks and Services, the Russian Institute for Public Networks, and the Institute of Internet Development.
