The entry period for the annual contest for professional and novice online journalists, 2019 DOT-Journalism, has been extended. Now, entries will be accepted until November 1, 2019. Fill out the online application to apply.
The jury accepts articles, journalistic pieces and reports on domain industry events, digital technologies and related IT topics. Entries must be created and/or published between October 1, 2018 and November 1, 2019.
Prizes are awarded in six main categories:
- Best Publications on Domains (a series of publications by one author)
- Domain Analytics (the best analytical material)
- What the Industry Lives On (reporting on industry events and activities)
- TV and Radio about Domains (the best television and radio report)
- Regions are Our Everything (the best journalistic material by the regional press)
- Is There Life Outside of Runet (the best journalistic material in Russian published in the media outside of Russia)
A special category, Young Correspondents, has been established for young journalists under 18.
In addition, a special prize will be awarded to the author of the best article about RU and/or Runet history. This special prize was established in connection with the 25th anniversary of .RU in 2019.
The contest results will be announced in December as part of Russian Internet Week 2019 (RIW 2019). Winners will be awarded with certificates and valuable devices.
