On September 19-20, the 8th Far Eastern Internet Marketing Conference, the largest event of this kind in Russia’s Far East, took place in Khabarovsk. The main goal was to help Far Eastern entrepreneurs bring their businesses to a new level using internet marketing.
During the first day of the conference, participants discussed ccTLDs, hosting, contextual, and display advertising. Speakers shared their experience in franchising, SMM-promotion and online marketing tools. Coordination Center expert Yevgeny Pankov presented his report on national domains .RU and .РФ and offered practical recommendations on how to work with domain names and trademarks. He particularly focused on conducting safe business online.
The participants were especially interested to see a clip from the film, Internet for Everybody that premiered in Moscow last week. The film marks the 25th anniversary of .RU and covers the ways the internet helps people in various situations, including in business.
At the end of the conference, participants had an opportunity to ask questions and received commemorative gifts from the Coordination Center to mark .RU’s anniversary.
