The 8th Explore the Internet and Govern It! national online championship was organized by the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ and Rostelecom, with support from the Kaspersky Lab and REG.RU.</p>
<p>
This year’s competition has a record number of participants. As many as 17,500 contestants are representing the majority of Russian regions, cities, towns and villages. There are 12,500 students registered as individual participants and another 5,000 participants forming 943 teams. </p>
<p>
The contestants have 60 minutes to complete tasks varying in complexity. This year’s puzzles are dedicated to domains, governance and technological aspects of the domain industry as well as the 25th anniversary of the national domain .RU and Runet. </p>
<p>
The tournament module is available for already registered participants on the project’s official website until November 28, 2019.</p>

Championship results will be announced on December 5, 2019. Winners in the individual and team competitions will receive certificates and prizes: </p>

2nd prize: Samsung Galaxy A10 smartphone</br>
3rd prize: XEON Funtastique RP800A 3D pen</p>
<p>
Other contestants in the top 10 will be awarded runner-up prizes. Each participant will receive a personal online certificate. </p>
