The Union of Internet Operators, a founder of the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/РФ., ceased activities on July 10.
The Union of Internet Operators was one of the organizations that established the Coordination Center in 2001. Its cofounders included the Russian Association for Networks and Services, the Internet Technologies Center and the Russian Institute for Public Networks. In 2015, the Russian Ministry of Communications and Mass Media and the Internet Development Institute joined them.
Now the Coordination Center has five founders. The required amendments will be made to its constituent documents soon.
