On April 9, RIPE NCC Day kicked off in Moscow. It united technical experts from European, Middle Eastern and Central Asian countries. The Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ hosts this international event.

When speaking at the RIPE NCC Day opening ceremony, Director of the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ Andrey Vorobyev said: “RIPE NCC Day has become part of the events to mark the 25th anniversary of the Russian ccTLD. On April 7, heads of the Eastern European ccTLD registries held a meeting, and yesterday the 10th Russian Internet Governance Forum took place, with a discussion of the political and humanitarian aspects of the internet’s work. Today is the technical day, and network engineers will share their knowledge and discuss opportunities for regional cooperation.”

Andrey Vorobyev also spoke about the ceremony to cancel the .RU commemorative postage stamp held at RIGF 2019 and gave a framed commemorative stamp to RIPE NCC CTO Kaveh Ranjbar.
