A contest of awareness-raising videos, Supporting the EcoInternet of the Future, has started. The event is organized by the national video project Children Bloggers with assistance from the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ, and will take place between March 22 and April 22, 2019.
The contest is open to young bloggers – children aged between 8 and 14 years who have an interest in the topic of safe internet. The contest's main aim is to raise kids’ and parents' awareness of security while using the internet, inform them of potential risks and ways to stay safe online, promote interest in online resources for education and development.
The contest organizers seek to create a series of public educational and awareness-raising materials about digital technologies with the help of advanced computer techniques and the contestants.
How to enter:
- post a video on your VKontakte social media account with the hashtag #экологичный_интернет_будущего
- complete an entry form and send it via email with the video to 5@5agency.ru

Contest dates:
- March 22-April 18: call for entries, participants post videos on VKontakte
- April 18-19: contest jury chooses 10 finalists
- April 20-21: public voting on the website конкурс.блогеры-дети.рф
- April 22: contest results announced, winners awarded
All contestants will receive e-certificates. The 10 best entries will be chosen for the final of the DOT-Journalism: Young Correspondents contest for aspiring online journalists. The winner of the Supporting the EcoInternet of the Future contest will receive a certificate, gifts from the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ, and a voucher to spend a session at the Children Bloggers National Camp in Crimea in June.
