The Coordination Center of TLD .RU/.РФ together with Rostelecom have announced the launch of the 7th Learn the Internet, Manage It! national online competition. In all, over 11,000 children have sent in their applications; 2,800 of them formed 440 school teams from all over the country.
Participants will have 60 minutes to perform tasks varying in difficulty. This year’s theme is the technology of the future: robotics, AI, the Internet of Things, blockchain, virtual and augmented reality, telemedicine, and cyber security.
The preparations for the events were held on social networks of the Learn the Internet, Manage It! project. The reference material is still available using the hashtag #изучиинтернет_чемпионат_2018 on Facebook and VKontakte.
The tournament tasks will be available to the registered participants until November 30, 2018 on the official website of the competition.
Following the competition, the three best individual competitors and three strongest school teams will receive awards.
In 2018, the awards will be digital devices for leisure and learning: gold medalists will receive ACER transformer laptops, silver medalists will receive Xiaomi Redmi 5A smarthphones, and bronze medalists will be awarded Xiaomi Mi Band 3 smart fitness trackers.
