On May 23, the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ and the National Parents Association signed an agreement, which aims to ensure cooperation between the parties in educational, upbringing, awareness-raising and research work for the implementation of the state family policy in Russia.
“The Coordination Center has been holding various events for children and young people for many years running, participating in information literacy lessons and supporting contests dedicated to this topic. One of our best-known projects is the Explore the Internet & Govern It! online contest, which involves school students from all over Russia. By signing an agreement with the National Parents Association, we are taking a big step toward making more people aware of our initiatives, so that new participants join our events. In turn, we will support and strengthen the activities of the association. We will jointly improve the media literacy of the population, develop and implement new projects and promote the creation of a positive internet environment that is accessible to everyone,” said Andrey Vorobyev, Director of the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ.
The agreement was signed during the socio-pedagogical discussion of methodological recommendations developed by the National Parents Association under a project of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia.
