Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ and the Explore the Internet & Govern It! online game became partners of the “УчITель” (a wordplay meaning “IT teacher”) marathon organized by the city project New Technologies School, GBOU “School № 354 named after D. Karbyshev” (State-Funded Educational Institution) and GAOU DPO “TemoCenter” (State Autonomous Educational Institution of Further Vocational Education).
“УчITель” marathon is an annual contest held to choose the most advanced teacher of the city in application of modern information technologies. The marathon aims to support teachers that effectively introduce advanced technologies into the educational process. Teachers from school and other educational institutions as well as supplementary education pedagogues are eligible to compete for the title of the most advanced.
The marathon has started already; the deadline for applications is 12 March, 2018. The application should be submitted through this form.
The competition will be conducted in three stages – from January until April of 2018.
Stage 1. Video presentation
Participants are asked to present themselves and show how they use information technologies during their classes. According to the choice of the jury and by popular vote, participants that prepared the best presentations will pass on to the second stage.

Stage 2. Master classes
Participants will be asked to prepare and facilitate a master class for an unknown audience, which will show their skills as well as creative and pedagogical potential in IT. The jury will select the finalists for Stage 3.
Stage 3. Improvisation
Teachers present the scenarios of their lessons using Moscow Electronic School and fragments of video lessons.
