On December 14, Skolkovo Technology Park hosted the second Digital Summit Awards ceremony, with the support of the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ. The Coordination Center has created its own category, On Guard of Runet.
The winner in this category is BIZon, a company that analyzes cyber threats and tests the security systems of major credit organizations as well as provides expertise related to cyber risks. Last year, the company joined the Netoscope project and also signed a cooperation agreement with the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ. BIZon Director Dmitry Samartsev received the prize from Director of the Coordination Center Andrey Vorobyev.
BIZon specializes in phishing and locating websites that violate information security in the finance sector. This year, the company sent about 700 requests to registrars to cancel domains suspected of phishing. Ensuring information security in the banking sector was one of the main issues this year.
Director of the Coordination Center Andrey Vorobyev said: “The Digital Summit Awards ceremony is unique because it combines several of the most productive professional formats, including the ceremony of awarding the winners, the presentation of new projects, live discussions on stage and in the audience, and exchange of expert opinions in various areas of digital technology.”
The Digital Summit Awards is the first national IT award that promotes the best Russian solutions for improving the effectiveness of businesses and the work of government agencies and increasing personal performance. The Ministry of Communications and Mass Media, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration and Skolkovo Technology Park are partners of the award.
