Competent organizations that cooperate with the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ filed 579 requests for the removal of domain names, for violations, with registrars in November. This was part of the regular monthly report presented by the competent organizations and published on the website of the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ.
During the reporting period, 562 domains were canceled and 17 domains remained operational as their administrators promptly removed the content in question (or the website was blocked by a hosting provider). In eight instances, the delegation was restored at the request of the relevant competent organization after the reasons for blocking the domain name in question were eliminated.
Today 554 domains remain blocked.
The analysis of domains-violators showed that, like last month, the major part of the domains reported had sent malware (257 requests), followed by phishing (235 requests) and botnet controllers (87 requests).
