On December 8, the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ and Rostelecom tallied up the results of the sixth national online championship Explore the Internet & Govern It! About 14,000 school students registered for the event, of whom more than 4,000 played in 634 school teams from all across Russia.
Competitors had only one hour to do assignments of varying difficulty. This year, the theme was the Internet of Things (IoT) – concepts, architecture, protocols of interaction and security of the technology. To improve their performance, participants could complete additional tasks – either prepare an analytical article on internet industry trends or conduct a local internet literacy competition in their school.

Competitors coming in first place will receive an ASUS Transformer Book laptop, silver winners will enjoy a Samsung Galaxy J3 smartphone and holders of the bronze will be inseparable from their favorite music with their new fashionable JBL Go Bluetooth speaker.
The championship traditionally included individual and team stages.
