Russian Internet Week (RIW 2017) exhibition and forum has started in Moscow. The Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ partners with RIW 2017 and offers a number of events for participants and guests on November 1-3.
Throughout the RIW, registrars accredited in the Russian national domains .RU and .РФ will be present at the Coordination Center’s stand. Registrars RU-CENTER, R01, REG.RU, MASTERNAME, DOMENUS, FE.RU, 101Domain will hold events, games and quizzes with prizes and memorable gifts. Twice a day, the stand will host master classes by registrars’ representatives on the main rules of work with domains and related services.
The exhibition’s guests will be able to take unusual photos in the photo zone, which resembles a balloon with logos of the domains .RU and .РФ and the slogan Launch Yours! This is an invitation from the Coordination Center and registrars to create internet projects in the national domain zones .RU and .РФ.
The highlight of the first day of RIW 2017 was the presentation of the Dot-Journalism awards (http://дотжурналистика.рф/laureates/ «Dot-журналистика»). The annual prize of the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ is conferred on journalists covering trends and phenomena in the domain industry and key events related to the use of DNS and other internet routing systems through articles, analytical materials, and video and radio reports. The ceremony was hosted by head of the Coordination Center’s press service Mikhail Anisimov and Izvestiya newspaper correspondent Vladimir Zykov.

- Best Information Material – Yelena Chernenko, Veronika Goryacheva and Olga Shestopal, Kommersant; Pavel Kantyshev and Darya Tikhonchuk, Vedomosti;
- Is There Life Outside Runet? – Zaure Mederkhanova, Digital.Report, Kazakhstan;
- Special category of the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ – Anna Balashova, RBC;
