The Official Documents section of the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ website has published draft amendments to the following regulatory documents: The Rules for Registering Domain Names in .RU and .РФ domains, the regulation “On the procedure applicable in case of a transfer of support of information on domain names between registrars” and the newly developed draft of the regulation “On the procedure applicable in case of a single transfer of support of information on a significant number of domain names”.
The regulatory documents will be amended due to the implementation of the procedure for a single transfer of support of information on a significant number of domain names between registrars. Moreover, several amendments were made to the Rules concerning the procedure for calculating the timelines in accordance with the current procedure of the onset of major events within the lifetime of the domain name in the .RU and .РФ domain registries, as well as expanding the list of grounds for including character identifications in the stop list.
Comments on the draft documents submitted through the feedback form by October 31, 2017, will be taken into account as work on the documents continues.
