On October 11, the Economics Faculty of Moscow State University hosted the School of Real-Life Cases fair. Over 3,000 Moscow school students took part in the fair: they met with employers and asked them questions about the project.
University and school students could try their luck with an online quiz based on the “Explore the Internet & Govern It!” project at the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ stand, as well as show their internet competence and then receive a pamphlet on safe internet navigation.
The School of Real-Life Cases is a contest of projects and applied research made by school students and based on real tasks set by employers. This year it was held for the sixth time. The Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ traditionally supports this project. This year the Coordination Center offered contestants the opportunity to modernize the project “Explore the Internet & Govern It!” by developing a game scenario for a new thematic block of “Knowledge” section and by updating the contents of the mobile training app and the educational quiz based on the project.
Besides the Coordination Center, 70 more companies offered jobs to students, among them Rostelecom, 1C-Bitrix, Casio, EligoVision, Robot League, 1C, Microsoft and others. During the school’s operation, over 80 cases will be carried out in education, ICT, robotechnics, mobile app development, engineering, information and communication, mechatronics, 3D-modelling, internet of things, PR and marketing, gamification and others.
After attending the fair, students should be able to determine which employer projects they are interested in taking. The contest will last until April 2018, when the best projects will be presented at the contest finals.
