CCTLD approves H2 budget

On July 25, 2017, the Council of the Coordination Center for Top Level Domains held a regular meeting to discuss the budget for the second half of this year. The majority of votes approved the presented budget.
The meeting participants approved both the Coordination Center’s operating budget and the budget for specific projects, including support for major industry events, import substitution initiatives and the development of measures to increase the stability, reliability and security of the Russian internet’s essential information infrastructure.

CCTLD Director Andrei Vorobyev noted that the current version of the budget will allow the center to focus on priority areas: “One of our key objectives is to make internet addressing more accessible and reliable; to increase the number of DNS nodes and improve their quality in the Eurasian Economic Union. This issue will be in the focus of the upcoming TLDCON conference in Almaty, Kazakhstan.”
