The National Young Families Forum is underway in the Kostroma Region. It is being attended by over 300 people from 46 Russian regions, this includes children not exceeding the age of 14. The Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ, which was invited to the forum as an expert organization, has presented its online game, Explore the Internet & Govern It.
Tatyana Novikova, senior project manager at the Coordination Center, explained all about the online game and the national online championship of the same name, as well as its educational possibilities. She also shared her company’s experience of creating an interesting educational resource and explained the rules for taking part in the competition, which will be held for the sixth time this year. Tatyana Novikova focused on teaching digital literacy through a game. After she had taken the floor, the forum participants, both adults and children, were invited to take part in quiz based on the Explore the Internet & Govern It! game.
The National Young Families Forum will end on August 8. Its program includes seminars, workshops, discussions and meetings with interesting people. Invitations to the forum were sent to education experts, parents of multi-child families, psychologists, business people along with bloggers. Children can attend exciting history lessons, quizzes plus competitions. The forum was organized by the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh).
