The Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ is attending this year’s spring series of The Website Formula seminars. The first seminar, where the center’s expert Yevgeny Pankov delivered a report, was held in Yekaterinburg on February 16. It was attended by over 600 people, an unprecedented number for these seminars.
This is the sixth series of free seminars held around Russia. Coordination Center experts will present reports in Penza, Khabarovsk, Yoshkar-Ola, Makhachkala, Tver, Tula and many other cities. The Website Formula series is sponsored by 1C-Bitrix with support from the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ, Yandex, Mail.ru Group, Vkontakte and other companies.
This year, Coordination Center experts will focus on personal data storage and processing, which is very important for small businesses, as personal data are regularly processed, for example during registration of online buyers. Last year seminar participants asked many questions about this, and asked the organizers to add them to the Coordination Center’s reports.
“We believe it is very important to improve the legal literacy of small businesses involved in online trade. We use these seminars to provide comprehensive and up-to-date information about amendments to legislation, which helps them reduce their risks,” Yevgeny Pankov said, sharing his impressions about the seminar in Yekaterinburg.
