The submission of applications for the fifth annual DOT-Journalism competition for journalists who write about the domain industry and other internet addressing systems opened on January 31, 2017.
Submissions include articles, items, analytical materials, op-ed columns, video and audio reports by one or several authors (groups) and published on January 31 to October 1, 2017.
Awards are presented in seven nominations:
A new nomination has been added for young journalists in 2017, Cub Reporters. Submissions will be accepted from students of general schools and vocational colleges aged up to 18. They can write not only about domains and addressing protocols but on any subject connected with internet technologies.
You can fill in an application on the website of the competition before October 1, 2017.
The contest results will be announced during the Russian Interactive Week 2017 (RIW 2017) in November. The contest winners will receive certificates and prizes.

This year, reports on different aspects of IT security will be accepted in the framework of the Safe Runet Week, which is held on January 31 to February 7. Articles and reports on this subject are to be submitted to the Organizing Committee by February 5. The authors of the best three materials will be awarded at Cyber Security Forum 2017 (CSF 2017), the Week’s final event, on February 7.
