Applications are being accepted for the 23rd Economic Revival of Russia national competition organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Russian Union of Journalists under the business partnership of the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ.
The competition involves journalists and editorial boards who publish materials about the current state of Russia’s economy and its sectors. The Coordination Center will present the award to the author of the best work of journalism about development trends in the online economy, in particular, in the domain industry.
“The Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ has been supporting publications and journalists specializing in domain issues for many years. We annually conduct the DOT-Journalism competition for journalists who report on the events, phenomena and trends that have to do with today’s domain industry through articles, analytical materials and video and radio coverage. The Coordination Center will happily support the new competition as well, which will, among other things, help popularize the domain theme in Russia,” Director of the Coordination Center Andrey Vorobyev said.
The ceremony to sum up the competition’s results and award its winners will take place in April 2017 as part of a forum, Media on Enhancing the Competitiveness of Priority Sectors of Russia’s Economy. The forum will include a plenary address by Director of the Coordination Center Andrey Vorobyev and a report on legal aspects of domain names registration and administration by the Coordination Center’s Deputy Director for Legal Issues Sergei Kopylov.
The competition comprises two stages – a regional and a federal one. Applications will be accepted until February 1 and March 1, 2017, respectively.
