The Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ and Rostelecom are inviting school students, their teachers and parents to take part in a quiz on the Study the Internet, Govern It educational project that will take place on December 11, as part of the annual Dushevny Bazar charity event.
This ‘heart-warming’ quiz will fill the Sunday with lots of fun and useful facts. Visitors can learn the essentials about how the internet works, with the extra bonus of some interesting information on the history of the web, its Russian segment, the Runet, and some flagship services. There will be a gift for every participant coming from Rostelecom and the Coordination Center. The games will be held every half an hour at the Rostelecom stand.
The quiz and the charity event is, first and foremost, a chance to help children in real need. Some visitors, for example, can play Santa Claus and grant the wish of participating charities by bringing a gift for the kids under their care, to be placed under the Bazaar’s charity Christmas tree.
The Dushevny Bazar is the largest of Russia’s charity fairs. It aims to raise awareness about charity activities among urban residents, promote non-profits and socially responsible business, create efficient cross-sector projects and expand the number of donors and volunteers.
The event will be held on December 11 at Gostiny Dvor, 4 Ilyinka Street, Entrance 4, Moscow.
The opening is scheduled for 11 am.
