On October 21, Beget (St. Petersburg) signed an accreditation agreement for the .RU and .РФ domains. This is the fourth accredited registrar for Russian domain names from the northern capital.
Beget is a major hosting provider. In addition to virtual hosting services, the company deals with the security issues of their customers.
Just this year, some 11 registrars have been accredited for .RU and .РФ. Now there are a total of 45 domain name selling companies in the Russian domain market.
