On October 14, 2016 the Economics Faculty of the Lomonosov Moscow State University hosted the Project Fair of the Real Project School. Students participating in this projects and applied research contest solve actual tasks from employers. This will be the fifth time the contest is held.
The Coordination Center invited contestants to work on the Learn the Internet and Manage It! project. Students will develop a game for the project and bring it fully up to date, or develop a game or a quiz that will promote web literacy among adults.
In addition to the Coordination Center, tasks were provided by 43 other companies, including Rostelecom, Oracle, Xerox, AutoDesk, Intel, 1С, KidBurg, Robots Inc., Microsoft and others. The Real Project School will feature over 70 case studies in education, housing and utilities, healthcare, mobile application development, Internet of Things, history, futurology, mechatronics, robotechnics, 3D design, environment protection, space, retail, PR and marketing, alternative energy, mass media and other areas.
Some 2,500 Moscow students participated in the Project Fair. They had an opportunity to meet employers face to face, ask probing questions, and get advice on how to solve case studies. The Coordination Center set up its own stand featuring the Learn the Internet and Manage It! game project. Visitors could take a quiz to test their web literacy and get an educational leaflet on internet safety, among other interesting souvenirs.
At the Project Fair, students will decide which of the projects offered by employers of the Real Project School are most interesting to them. Applications are accepted online at the Real Project School website until October 21.
The contest will run until April 2017 when the best projects will be presented in the final.
Real Project School currently involves over 130 Moscow schools, 88 schools from the regions, college students and students of the Economics Faculty of Lomonosov Moscow State University.
