Deadline extended for Positive Content contest

Deadline for submissions to the 7th Positive Content national contest of Internet projects to be extended until November 1, 2016.

The Positive Content national contest of Internet projects is one of the most famous and prestigious Runet contests. It is aimed at supporting the best projects for children, teenagers and young people, projects that promote positive thinking and creativity, as well as boosting education levels and strengthening faith in the boundless potential of people.

The contest helps fill Runet with high-quality digital entertainment, education and information products meeting modern information security requirements. It also helps improve the digital literacy of the Russian population by promoting projects with positive content.

This time the authors of not only websites but also video blogs, forums, social media groups, as well as educational and game applications, are invited to take part in the contest.

Winners will be selected in nine major categories:

  • best child development game
  • best media resource
  • best blog
  • best public group in social media
  • best video blog
  • best mobile game application
  • best child development mobile application
  • best educational media project
  • best website of an educational and cultural institution
  • The jury will also choose winners in special categories, and there will be a people’s choice award.

    Applications should be submitted at the official website позитивныйконтент.дети.

    The 2016 contest’s winners will be announced on November 24 at the Runet Prize (national prize in high technology and the Internet) award ceremony.

    Participation in the contest will produce:

  • valuable prizes from organizers and partners;
  • the Positive Content quality label for nominated projects;
  • inclusion of nominated projects in the children’s search engine “Спутник.дети” (Sputnik.children) and the kid mode of the “Спутник” (Sputnik) browser;
  • media support for projects on Internet resources of the contest’s organizers and partners and media outlets.
  • Contest organizers: the domain .ДЕТИ (CHILDREN), the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ, the Internet Development Fund, and ROCIT. By tradition, the Russian Association for Electronic Communications is the organizing partner of the contest. Other partners include: Sputnik, RU-CENTER and the Kaspersky Lab.
