Ms Daneliya pointed out that Learn the Internet – Manage It! competition helps children and teenagers better learn about the structure of the global web and its principles in a captivating game setting, as well as teaches them responsible and safe online behavior. She said that Learn the Internet – Manage It! project enjoys great success and is very popular, adding that the number of individual participants surged ten times over the three years of the project’s existence.
“One of the main missions of the Russian national domain administrator is to support educational and social projects aimed at promoting and developing the Internet in Russia. The Coordination Center has always paid a lot of attention to this issue and shared its results with other registries and registrars. For example, since our foreign colleagues expressed interest in the Learn the Internet – Manage It! game, we are thinking about transforming it into an international competition,” Coordination Center Director Andrey Vorobyev said.
