On February 26, shareholders and the management team attended a meeting of the Directors’ Board of Technical Center of Internet. The meeting focused on electing the new Chairman of the Directors’ Board. At the end, Deputy Director of the center Andrei Romanov was elected Chairman.
“Technical Center of Internet today is one of the most actively developing high-tech companies in the Russian telecommunications market. I appreciate your confidence in me and will try to justify it. The center supports five TLDs, including .RU, .РФ, .SU, .TATAR and .ДЕТИ. The number of domain names serviced by the center is growing steadily, amounting to over six million. The fact that the center controls the stable operation of the entire Runet is a great responsibility for us. Therefore, the company will continue to invest in network development and the growth of the Russian segment of the Internet , while developing new services for customers’ convenience and cooperation with other companies in our market,” Romanov said.
