Cyber Security Forum 2016 (CSF 2016) focused on digital literacy, education of experts and users, and creating a positive internet environment. The Coordination Center pays much attention to these issues in its daily work and implements a few socially-oriented projects, including the annual national online championship, “Learn the Internet – Manage It!" The championship will start in two months, so CSF 2016 held a special tournament for 8th to 11th graders devoted to Safe Runet Week. It was organized by the Coordination Council and the School of New Technologies project office and supported by Rostelecom, ROCIT and SoftLine.
The “Learn the Internet – Manage It!” educational project includes a module that presents information about the features, capabilities and operation of the Internet in an interactive visual format. This module was used at the CSF 2016 competition. The tournament involved nine teams from different Moscow schools. They had one hour to complete the tasks and earn points.
The winner was School No. 1357 with 70,746 points. School No. 648 with 51,215 points was second and School No. 329 with a score of 45,082 was third.
All of the teams were awarded a certificate of participation, and the winners will receive commemorative gifts from the Coordination Center. The prizes will be sent to the schools and presented at school assemblies.
