The new charter of the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ has been published on the organization’s website.
Under the new charter, the procedure for appointing the Coordination Center’s council members will change. From now on, each founder will be represented by an agent and an Internet expert appointed by the founder. The council will also include the director of the Coordination Center as well as one employee and an industry expert appointed by the director.
The experts are appointed by the founders and the director for up to three years. An expert may join the council again not sooner than a year after the end of his or her current term. The terms of the founders’ representatives and an employee appointed by the director are not limited in duration.
The charter was amended by a unanimous decision of the general meeting of founding members on November 19, 2015. The full text is available here.
