For the sixth time Coordination Center for the TLD RU/РФ is organizing Russian Internet Governance Forum (RIGF-2015) that will take place on April 7, 2015 in Lotte Hotel in Moscow. The Forum is supported by ICANN, Technical Center of Internet, Kaspersky Lab and Russian Association for Electronic Communications.
This year the main topic of the forum is closer attention of many countries to the problem of Internet governance and national segments of the network. At the same time representatives of all the concerned parties - the state, technical community, business and civil society - will discuss new ways of dealing with the issues of security, confidence building online, protection of human rights, development of the digital economy. Technical aspects of the Internet development, experience of using Cyrillic alphabet in the domain space and the problems related won’t be left without attention.
Leading international and Russian experts in the field of security and network construction, representatives of the Internet business, international intergovernmental organizations and also Russian state and industry institutions will take part in the forum.
