In November 59 domains that violated the rules were blocked

In November 2014 Group-IB sent 79 requests to accredited registrars concerning delegation withdrawal of domain names that violated the rules. As a result of undertaken activities 59 domain names were withdrawn.

20 domain names are currently on delegation. 5 domain names from this 20 haven't been blocked because their administrators quickly resolved deficiencies. 15 domain names were unblocked after their owners have resolved the deficiencies following standard procedure. Unblocking was conducted at the request of CERT-GIB.

The biggest share of domain violators are resources that distribute malware (16%), the lowest are botnet controllers (5%).

For detailed information about how to report cyber threats and other illegal activities in the network, can be found on the Coordination Center webpage.
