Accredited registrars received 84 requests from Group-IB to withdraw domain names violators from delegation in October 2014. This is 4 requests less than in September. As a result of undertaken activities 69 names were withdrawn from delegation.
15 domain names are currently delegated. 7 domain names from 15 were not blocked because their administrators quickly resolved deficiencies. 7 domain names were unblocked after the owners of domain names eliminated what caused the domain to be blocked by the usual procedure. Unblocking was made at the request of CERT-GIB. 1 domain name registrar hasn’t responded yet.
The largest share of the discovered domains violators are phishing sites (50%), the lowest – botnet controllers (5%).
