Russian Ministry of Communications and Mass Media have conducted exercises to develop measures for protection of the Russian segment of Internet from external influences. During the session experts evaluated operational stability of the Russian segment, discovered vulnerabilities and developed mechanisms of interaction between different players of the industry, such as: telecom operators, government agencies, industry organizations and situation centers in case of external influence.
This practice allows developing a set of measures designed to improve security of the Russian segment of the Internet, make its operation more stable and reduce the risk of various types of threats.
