In July, 2013 accredited registrars got 113 applications for cancellation delegation of violator domain names from Group-IB company. That’s two and half times less than in June.
103 domain names have been cancelled delegation, 10 domain names are now on delegation: they all were unblocked because of the domain names owners’ blocking reasons removal. The unblocking was held on petition of CERT-GIB.
The biggest part of the detected violator domain names are phishing resources (50%), the smallest part on the resources which helped to malware distribution (12%).
The works on violator domain names exposure is held by Group-IB company in the frames of an agreement with Coordination Center for TLD RU on unapproved .RU and .РФ domains usage countermeasures. In the frames of Group-IB competence there are illegal .RU and .РФ domains usage countermeasures. Such are: in particular, phishing, illegal access to informational systems, malware distribution and infected computers networks managing.
