In May, 2013 Group-IB company addressed 105 applications for cancelling violator domain names delegations to Russian accreditated regisrars. That’s almost a twice smaller amount than in April. Works on violator domain names exposure are going on in the frames of an agreement with the Coordination Center on .RU and .РФ domains unapproved usage countermeasure.
As a result in May 93 domain names have been cancelled from delegation while 12 domain names are on delegation at the moment. 11 domain names out of them have been unblocked because of the CERT-GIB petition owing to the blocking reasons removal by the domain names owners.
The biggest part of the disclosed violator domain names belong to the resources where the malware distribution is extended from (52%), the least part belong to the phishing resources (16%).
