On June 27, 2013, at the meeting of the Coordination Center Council, the Council approved the annual report and has accepted the auditing commission report regarding accounting. The annual report can be found at the Coordination Center website,
The Council members have also discussed the activities of the Registrar Committee and their input in domain name registration processes. The Council has decided to give the Committee more insights on the Coordination Center working groups and management decisions. Also, a member of the Registrar Committee will be taking part in the Coordination Center Council's discussions regarding the domain name registration system.
"By including the Registrar Committee members in discussions regarding registrars, we believe we're making the right decision. The Council relies very much on opinions of all registrars – not only of the market leaders, which have their representatives in the Council, but also of the smaller businesses – which have more narrow marketshare, different specifics and certain needs. We aim at developing the registrar market and increasing the number of accredited registrars, and, in order to do that, we need to deeply understand the needs of these businesses and provide conditions that allow entering the market at a comfortable and convenient pace. I'm sure that by engaging the Registrar Committee in even more active discussions, we're making a large step toward this goal", said Marina Nikerova, a member of the Coordination Center Council.
