The 9th Eurasian Information Security Forum, "Infoforum-Eurasia / CITY", has finished its work in Moscow. More than 1,000 information security experts from Russia and abroad have attended the event.
The Coordination Center for TLD RU/РФ sponsored the plenary session themed "Information and communication technology for safe and stable region development".
Andrey Kolesnikov, CEO of the ccTLD RU/РФ, together with Alexey Moshkov, chief of the Special Technical Ops Bureau of the Russian Ministry of the Interior, hosted a session themed "Internet: joining forces to ensure security". The session attendees discussed topical issues of ensuring Internet security, main trends in tackling cybercrime, and the part that regions play in fulfilling the security goals. The session hosts have specifically said that the regional initiatives to increase security and promoting Internet hygiene are of utmost importance for today's Internet community.
