On August, 30 conference “Electronic payment systems in Russia” was held in Moscow. It was devoted to the modern instruments of the Internet business development. The Conference was organized by the group of companies SLON. The Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ acted as an information sponsor of the conference.
The audience of the conference “Electronic payment systems in Russia” is representatives of the banks and payment systems, their consultants and providers of technical solutions as well as e-commerce experts.
Great attention was paid at the conference to the issues of electronic payment systems security. The experts told in detail what challengers and threats might confront banks, internet-shops in technical and law areas, how the fraudsters act cheating on the users of payment systems.
In particular, CEO of Group-IB Ilya Sachkov attracted the attention of the participants of the Conference to the methods of investigation and prevention of computer crime and the interaction with law enforcement agencies. “Fraud with the use of Internet technologies is a core threat not only to private businesses but also for the whole national economy. For the last year the number of similar cases has increased by 200%”- underlined Ilya Sachkov. He also complained about the imperfection of Russian Law, when rather serious financial crimes committed in the Internet result in an inadequately minor punishment.
We remind that in 2011 the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ and Group-IB concluded an agreement on Counteraction to cyber threats in domains .РФ and .RU.
