On June 15, 2012 a regular meeting of the Council of the Coordination Center for TLD.RU/.РФ took place. The Council decided that Autonomous Non -Commercial Organization “Coordination Center for TLD .RU. /РФ” should join Internet Society (ISOC) as a member.
The Council discussed current trends and directions of Russian TLDs development for the next three months. The reports on this issue were made by the Director of the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ Andrey Kolesnikov and the Director of the Technical Center of Internet Aleksey Platonov. The Director of CC was charged to prepare an executive summary on the issue for the following Council meeting. The Technical Director of the Technical Center of Internet Elena Voronina informed the members of the Council about the process of implementation of DNSSEC in ссTLD .RU and .РФ
The members of the Council were provided with the schedule of processing the documents regulating the registration of second level domain names in TLDs .RU and .РФ. The Council also approved the Auditing Committee report that confirmed the correctness of accounting record-keeping.
